'''Neptunian Slugs''' are edible, slug-like organisms apparently native to planet [[Neptune (Futurama)|Neptune]]. There are two known varieties: the yellow one, which is a key ingredient in Neptunian cuisine; and the purple, which is known to cause terrible diarrhea, but is sold in food markets anyway. Normally medium-sized, the Neptunian Slug can inflate to enormous size as a defense mechanism in order to avoid being cooked. These creatures have a striped body, two eyestalks and sharp teeth in their mouths. Like Earth's slugs, they are deflated by salt. Neptunian Slugs can also be found in pet shops, indicating that they may be domesticated and kept as pets.

The recommended procedure of dealing with a brain slug victim is to act natural and switch to a garlic shampoo. Another way to deny attachment is wearing a helmet. Fortunately, Brain Slugs are not very intelligent, minimizing the risk. Once removed from the afflicted person's head, the person returns immediately to normal. It also seems that a brain slug will starve and die if the creature it is attached to is particularly stupid i.e. braindead.

As for the quality images, the Spore creature creator can come in real handy--not to mention you could always use the screen capture button to save a copy of the illustration.
