The Bachani are a species of flowering plant-like flora which the Ithorians had once intended to introduce onto Telos IV in the Telosian Restoration Project. It has a tall stalk which is complemented by wide leaves and purple blossoms. Extractions from the Bachani had medicinal properties that made their importation and exportation within the Galactic Republic restricted. This restriction caused the illegal sale of the extract to become a lucrative business for the criminal underworld.
