A mutated Alien variant incapable of maturing past its larval stage, the Bodyburster resembles a large black Chestburster. Hatched from a pink egg among an ordinary clutch, the Bodyburster's egg was smuggled to the pleasure planet Celeste, where the resulting hatchling, after escaping from a human host, caused havoc among the population with its poisonous bite, which caused people to detonate.

The only known bodyburster ever to exist was lain into a pink egg amongst an ordinary clutch. This egg was soon smuggled onto the pleasure planet Celeste, where it eventually hatched and took a host. Once it escaped from its first victim, it caused havoc through the planet's population through its poisonous bite, whom later detonated.
