They are religiously carnivorous and cannibalistic because of their Green Pact but do not harm plant or tree life themselves but they are open to using products made of vegetation and wood from other races.
The Bosmer are Elven natives of Valenwood, an Elven province in the southwestern forests of Tamriel. The Bosmer are cousins of the Altmer and Dunmer but are known to be more on the wild side compared to their cousins, they refer to themselves as "Wood Elves" or "the Tree-Sap People" suggesting their youthful energy. Bosmer prefer to live a simple existence in harmony with nature and the wild beasts that inhabit it and reject the complex traditions of their cousins. The Bosmer are witty and agile Elves and have a curious nature which gives them the ability to command simple minded creatures. They are well suited as scouts and thieves but they are best skilled in archery, they are the finest archers in all of Tamriel.
Bosmers prefer living in isolation in contrast to their cousins due to their cannibalistic way of life, in accord with their Green Pact. Though they like to voice out their opinions in political arguments, and they aggressively defend their lands, they have never waged war on other races. The book Mixed Unit Tactics is based on one of their skirmishes with the Khajiit.
