Non-sapient beings are any species who have either failed to reach sapience during their current evolutionary tree or have lost it through some means, such as no longer needing the brain power to continue surviving. Non-sapient beings are often referred to as "creatures" as opposed to sapient beings, which are often known as simply "races" or "peoples". This category includes species from any and all potential universes.
