The Aridians are the sapient humanoid inhabitants of the planet Aridius in an unknown binary system. They have short crests on their heads and dorsal fins. Formerly an aquatic species, they were forced into dry land as their homeworld moved closer to its twin suns until the entire oceans evaporated and the planet was turned into a desert. They are ruled by a Council of Elders and their population faces danger of extinction due to predation by the Mire Beasts.
