The Dorneans were a race of tall, leathery-skinned humanoids with specialized eyefolds native to the planet Dornea. Their eyefolds and shoulders were studded with quills, and could be swollen outward to provide extra defense against attackers. In the Dornean society, the male was responsible for taking care of the children until he was needed to defend the family.
