Native to the planet Hoszh Iszhir, The Gektls were a race of tough, green-skinned reptiloids that walked upright. The average Gektl had four digits on each hand and foot, and a scaly, segmented tail. The Gektl had the unique ability to shed their skin and tails when captured. This sudden loss of control allowed the Gektl to escape from its startled captor.
As a people, the Gektls were noted for their artwork and literature. They were best known for the painted eggs they created, each of which was a unique work of art that depicted an event in the history of their planet.
