Ice Bores are small, caterpillar-like creatures native to the icy moon of Andoria. They live in big swarms, and generate heat through chemical reactions in their bodies. The heat allows them to dig downwards through the ice, by melting it. They become so hot, that touching them may cause third-degree burns on the skin.
