Khellians are a race of sapient eusocial reptilianoids which somewhat resemble humanoid crocodiles. They have a militaristic society and aren't averse to the idea of eating other sapients. The Khellians are ruled by a queen who lays several thousand eggs at once and will die shortly before their hatch, allowing her body to provide food for the newborn.
Khellians are known to hibernate for long periods. Unlike a large number of warrior cultures, they have no concept of honor. Being poikilotherm creatures, they are highly vulnerable to sudden temperature changes. They also require oxygen for breathing.
