Kilaakians, a.k.a. Kilaaks, are a sapient species from the world of Kilaak; a planetoid located between Mars and Jupiter. Their natural form is small and mineral-like, but they are able to assume a humanoid female appearance.
The aliens seem to require high temperatures to function (which is strange, considering their world of origin). Exposure to cold temperature harms them and causes them to revert to their original forms.
History[]
At the end of the 20th century, a flying saucer landed on Earth, inside which were the Kilaaks. They claimed to be ambassadors from the planet Kilaak, an unknown world located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. They said that their world was a scientific utopia and that they wished to build a society just like it on Earth.
This statement was true, but with a catch, suddenly around the world, a majority of the Kaiju detained on Monster Island attacked major world cities. Gorosaurus rose up from below the Arc de Triomphe and began the assault on the city of love, Mothra attacked Bejing, Rodan was in Moscow stirring up a disaster, Godzilla was crushing NYC and Manda was demolishing London!
Eventually, the Kilaak base on Luna was discovered and destroyed by the Human militaries, freeing the Kaiju from the Kilaak mind control, the monsters were about to attack the Kilaaks' Earth base when the Kilaaks pulled out their trump card, King Ghidorah!
It took the combined might of all the Earth Monsters to defeat the cosmic Kaiser but eventually, he was subdued.
And with one final attack, Godzilla destroyed the Earthly Kilaak base, ending the invasion.

- The Kilaaks were one of two Sol-originated enemies faced by Godzilla in the Showa Era, the other being the Xiliens, who originated from not too far from Kilaak (Planet X being more in the vicinity of Jupiter whereas Kilaak was in-between Mars and Jupiter).
