Martians are any of a large variety of extraterrestrial beings from the planet Mars. If one were to take into account the massive number of species said to reside here as all correct information, than Martians would most likely be immigrants using the planet as a base - likely a staging area for interacting with mankind on the planet Earth. It is theorized that the space between planets counts just as much as the relative dimensions between parallel universes. So a variety of different martian species can evolve in different universes while Earthlings remain relatively the same. It is known that one race of them, if not all, was destroyed by the Furons
