The Martians were once an advanced humanoid people till their entire planet was devastated in a nuclear war. They have since become mutated and their planet irradiated. Martian males are shown to largely be bald or long haired while their woman are blind, at least the one observed by the crew of Rocketship X-M. They appear to have regressed into the stone age.
