Before coming under the service of Jabba Oola noticed that some of Bib's actions were the actions of a criminal instead of an honorable noble man. But even though she noticed a few signs she still believed his lies thinking that there must be a little bit of truth to what he said.

Although the Gamorreans beat her for her defiance Jabba near wanted them to leave any permanent disfiguring marks on her. Oola preyed for death instead of being a slave to a giant slug. She was reluctant about being a pleasure slave but Oola did what ever Jabba wanted out of fear. After realizing the truth about her new life her old life on Ryloth seemed much better.

When C-3PO and R2-D2 arrived at the palace and hearing about Luke's arrival Oola was filled with joy again. She hoped he would rescue her as well when the Jedi comes for his friends. As Jabba pulled her closer to him Oola tried to gain more control during the struggle by not only pulling on the leash but by having more of the chain than Jabba. She held most of it looped, folded and as a tangled up as ball in her hands.

She had pleased and entertained Jabba long enough she refused to do anymore. Angry and enraged by this Jabba decided to kill her instead of putting up with her defiance. It was amusing to him the first now it was boring having some who refused to obey him. Oola told herself she wanted to escape Jabba palace even if her only escape was death. But when the moment finally came she changed her mind and wanted to live. With Luke arriving at the palace her freedom was finally close but now that she was about to die her hope of being rescued was lost.

She cried and begged Jabba not to force her to do things against her will. After falling into the pit with the Rancor Oola was now crying and begging to be spared so she could live. Her hole life was tragic she wanted a better life but unfortunately never got it.
