The Oroogs are a sapient subterranean species native to the Eutermes zone on the planet Bortresoye, in the Divergent Universe. Their bodies are covered in fur and they have large claws which allow them to dig. Being underground dwellers, they find the sensation of being buried a comfortable one.
Like the Eutermesans, the Oroogs have also been enslaved and used as a work force by the Kromon, who feed them a substance that allows the Kromon to control their minds. With the help of the Salanders, the Oroogs managed to free themselves and defeat the Kromon, and promised to work alongside the Eutermesans to help rebuild their world.
