The S'krrr were a race native to the planet Ishanna III. They had been a rival of their humanoid neighbors from the planet Ishanna IV. For centuries, the two races settled their differences in one-on-one combat on the Combat Moon. The S'krrr were tall, mantis-like insectoids with sharp body segments and small, transparent wings on their backs. They use these wings to communicate in what was known as "wingsong." They have managed to remain technologically advanced for their remote location, but never developed space travel. It was generally assumed that the S'krrr descended from insects, most likely the drog beetle, although there was no evidence to support this. Certain members of the S'krrr population worship the lower insects for this purported ancestry.
