The Saheelindeeli are a race of green-furred, ape-like humanoids native to the Outer Rim planet Saheelindeel. They had a limited technology, and were just starting to move ahead toward automation during the early years of the New Order. The Saheelindeeli have a matriarchal society, based primarily on agriculture and raching. Descended from a species of primates, the Saheelindeeli are equally at ease walking on two feet or moving about on all-fours when necessary. Saheelindeeli are known for their adaptability, and crave companionship. Individuals bond and make friends with others quite rapidly, a trait that often seems childish to other races. As a people, the Saheelindeeli are also quite fond of daring or bold gestures, especially if they involve death-defying actions by other beings.
