The Sluissi were a race of beings native to the planet Sluis Van. They were humanoid from the waist up, but have snake-like tails below the waist. The Sluissi have long been supporters of the Republic, and have shared their technology freely with other member planets. They were known as a plodding, methodical race which had an easy-going attitude and never seems to get excited.
