The Tintinna were a ratlike alien race native to the planet Rinn. These intelligent creatures lived below-ground in burrows and caves. Their government was made up of tribal leaders, and the inhabitants of every clan and city toiled endlessly to make their lives easier. Many xenobiologists believed that the Tintinna was related to the Ranat, primarily because of their similarities in appearance.
Tintinna were known for their heightened senses of hearing and eyesight, senses that were honed in their underground homes. For this reason, many starship captains welcomed them as part of their crews, hiring them as lookouts and security agents.
